ifilm English to start airing ‘As Blue as the Sea’

Iranian series ‘As Blue as the Sea’ has been scheduled to be on the channel’s playlist.

Airing of the series, produced by Mahmoud Fallah and directed by Abolghasem Maarefi, is to be started on September 9, 2017.

‘As Blue as the Sea’ is a look at the hardships the Iranian people suffered before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the conspiracies and treachery sometimes even giving way to murder within a family.

Among the cast list are Rouya Teimourian, Siavash Tahmoures, Saeed Nikpour, Fakhreddin Seddiq Sharif, Zahra Saeedi, Atash Taqipour, Mehdi Aminikhah, Amirreza Delavari and Davoud Rashidi.

‘As Blue as the Sea’, produced in 2002, is to replace the series ‘The Wet Wings’ to be broadcast at 19:00 GMT (22:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 03:00, 8:00 and 14:00. ‘As Blue as the Sea’ is comprised of 13 segments.
